Program Description

Our mission is the development of trust and mutual respect between Jews and Arabs in Israel.

Methods:

  • Twinning btwn. 50 schools: We twin two schools, one Arab and one Jewish, in mixed or neighboring towns, and run our program with children of the same age in both schools.

  • A long-term process: Our multi-cultural, bilingual educational program involves preparatory workshops, followed by a series of encounters using drama, music, plastic arts, and outdoor activities, to enable a significant and enjoyable dialogue between Jewish and Arab children, parents, and teachers from the two schools.

  • Enabling continuity and expansion: Our staff supports and helps promote participants' initiatives to extend our multi-cultural projects into communities in which the program has run.
