The program aims to promote active education for sustainability and environmental awareness among Jewish and Arab children, and transform common communal spaces from sources of conflict into platforms for environmental education, shared citizenship, and community building.

Jewish and Arab 5th or 6th grade students participate in a series of 4 uni-national sessions and 4 bi-national encounters. The uni-national sessions are designed to prepare children for the encounters and help them process the encounters in a positive and productive way. The groups meet on a bi-weekly basis for three-hour sessions. The four uni-national sessions take place in each of the schools, while the bi-national sessions take place at Givat Haviva. The program culminates in a final event with the participation of students and families.
