Program Description
Schools are matched between neighboring Arab and Jewish communities. Uni-national sessions are held once a week, for two hours, such that approximately 25 uni-national CTC sessions are held each year. After several weeks of uni-national sessions, the participating classes begin a series of approximately three encounters with their parallel class.
Objectives-Students in the program will:

Participate in positive, personal interaction with "the other" based on well-grounded personal and group identities.

Develop critical thinking and a more critical perspective of the complex reality within which they live.

Understand and absorb the principles of tolerance, mutual respect, democracy, and peace.

Cultivate learning and reflection on the meaning of democracy and shared living between Jews and Arabs in the State of Israel.
